BMW’s ‘i’ division was founded in 2011 and produced the electrifying i3 and i8. Now, the German automaker is looking to accelerate its eMobility vision through new offerings.
However, Senior Vice President, Head of Product Line BMWi Dr. Robert Irlinger says that it is all about customer demand, which means that both automakers and authorities need to provide incentives for EVs, such as tax reductions and subsidies.
