Tata Motors Launches the All Electric SUV the Harrier ev

Tata Motors, the leading Indian electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has launched the Harrier.ev – an all-electric SUV. Powered by the next-gen Acti.ev+ EV architecture, it’s capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds..

It offers long-range 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs, and fast charging at 250 kilometres in five minutes.

It also offers a suite of features, including a display by Harman, powered by Samsung Neo QLED, immersive Dolby Atmos acoustics, and a 540° Surround View system that eliminates blind spots—even beneath the vehicle.

In addition, Auto Park Assist (APA) automatically maneuvers the vehicle into parallel or perpendicular spots at the driver's command.

Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle Ltd. and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., says: “From defining the SUV segment in the 1990s with iconic nameplates to democratizing it by boldly entering new whitespaces in the 2020s, our journey has always been driven by innovation and leadership. With the launch of Harrier.ev, we are not just introducing a new electric SUV or challenging convention - we are rewriting the rules of what’s possible. Born of legendary pedigree and engineered for tomorrow, the Harrier.ev is India’s most capable SUV."

TATA has launched 10 strategically located TATA.ev MegaChargers across key highways and urban hubs in India, addressing the growing need for fast, accessible EV charging infrastructure.
