Germany’s moovel Renamed REACH NOW; Announces Partnership with TIER Mobility

Germany’s moovel Group GmbH – a mobility joint venture of the BMW Group and Daimler AG – has announced it will be renamed REACH NOW Group GmbH by mid-2019.
It also unveiled a cooperation with the micromobility company TIER Mobility.
With TIER’s integration into the REACH NOW app, users can book and pay for e-scooter rides in fifteen German cities.
Ulrich Edelmann, Chief Strategy Officer, moovel Group GmbH (becomes REACH NOW), says: “The cooperation with TIER is another milestone on our way to a globally leading, open MaaS platform. By adding TIER’s e-scooters to our portfolio, we provide a seamless door-to-door mobility experience for our users.”
Lawrence Leuschner, Chief Executive Officer TIER Mobility GmbH, adds: “With the integration into the REACH NOW App, we are taking the next big step towards linking TIER micromobility with public transport.”
Moovel’s services are currently offered in 22 cities and are currently used by 7.5 million people.
