Autonomous Trucking Group Gatik Secures Investment From NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS
Gatik, a US autonomous middle-mile logistics company, has announced a strategic investment from Japan's NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. (NX Group), a global logistics provider. This investment will help Gatik accelerate the deployment of its autonomous technology across North America.
Gatik uses autonomous vehicles (AVs) for middle-mile deliveries.
Its autonomous transportation network is already operating in regions such as Texas and Arkansas in the US, and Ontario in Canada,
It technology addressies trucking challenges like driver shortages and supply chain inefficiencies, resulting in faster deliveries and reduced costs.
The company has received recent investment from Isuzu Motors and ITOCHU.

In 2021 Gatik achieved the world’s first fully autonomous deliveries with Walmart .
