According to reports, electric motorsport series Formula E will halt the championship for up to two months, following the coronavirus outbreak.
This follows the World Health Organisation’s declaration of a pandemic this week, which has forced many businesses and events to shut down.
If enforced, upcoming races in Seoul, Paris in France will join the list of postponed Formula E weekends. For now, Berlin, New York and London will still go ahead.
One major issue with Formula E is that races happen in city centres, which must have played a big part in the decision to postpone. Governments around the world are implementing new rules to prevent the wide-spread of Covid-19 in urban environments as they are easily spread in large crowds and public transport.
