Iomob and Circ have announced an agreement to offer e-scooters throughout Spain as part of Iomob’s Mobility as a Service (MaaS) offering in the region.

The pilot consists of integrated high speed rail, suburban rail, public transit, bikesharing, carsharing, taxis (30,000+ in Spain), ridehailing (Cabify) and parking.

Its project with Spain’s national rail operator Renfe is already in trial deployment.

Felix Petersen, Circ’s General Manager for Iberia says: “We are always looking for new ways to serve our users with more convenient and better-connected journeys. That is why we are excited to partner with Iomob. With this partnership, Circ and Iomob will work together to drive the use of public transport and other mobility operators through an integrated solution in Iberia.”

Boyd Cohen, CEO of Iomob, adds: “Pairing the most advanced high-speed rail network in Europe with one of the largest scooter sharing services in the region to support low-carbon first-mile/last-mile e-scooter sharing is a win-win for everyone including Renfe customers and the planet.”

Circ was founded at the end of 2018, the company’s e-scooters are now available in 13 countries.
