Hyundai has unveiled its Vision T Plug-in Hybrid SUV Concept at AutoMobility LA. The Vision T is the seventh in a series of Hyundai Design Center concepts.
Hyundai says the new car has a ‘Eco-focused, Compact SUV Design with Functional Dynamism as a Core Concept Vision’.
SangYup Lee, Senior Vice President and Head of Hyundai Global Design Center, says: “We pursue innovative solutions in design and add emotional value to our product experience through sensuous sportiness design language.”
Hyundai has also shown off its redesigned eco-friendly IONIQ car lineup.
IONIQ Hybrid, Plug-in Hybrid and Electric cars all receive refreshed exterior and interior designs, added infotainment technology and new Hyundai SmartSense active safety features and driving assistance systems.
Drivers of the new 2020 IONIQ Electric can also enjoy 170 miles of range thanks to an upgraded 38.3-kWh battery with 36% more energy capacity.
Hyundai adds: ‘With an electrified line-up that includes Hybrid, Plug-in, and Battery Electric as well as Fuel Cell vehicles, Hyundai is dedicated to clean mobility. And today’s first innovative concept reimagines the potential for that dedication in the compact SUV category’.
