IRVINE, Calif. (October 24, 2019) – Karma Automotive, Southern California-based creator of luxury electric vehicles and high-tech incubator, announced today its partnership with the Davis International Film Festival. The international film festival will celebrate global arts and culture, while featuring Karma’s soul-stirring luxury electric 2020 Revero GT.
Organized by the Davis Cross-Cultural Foundation, the festival will promote cultural and artistic exchange through the cinematic arts. As a pioneering luxury electric vehicle company, born in California with an expanding footprint on the global stage, Karma’s partnership with the film festival reflects the automaker’s philosophy surrounding luxury treatment – one that aims to immerse the customer in one-of-a-kind, curated experiences in areas including arts, culture, culinary delights, travel and more.
“Karma’s modern approach to luxury lifestyle and design transcends traditional luxury and automotive business models. Today’s discerning luxury customer expects a bespoke experience and product tailored to their unique lifestyles and tastes,” says Karma CEO Dr. Lance Zhou. “Karma’s support of the arts creates a shared connection between filmmakers and our beautiful luxury electric vehicles. We consider our designers and craftsmen to be artists, and each of our hand-built vehicles to be a masterpiece, evoking an emotional connection between the driver and vehicle.”
The festival will take place from Friday, October 25 to Sunday, October 27 throughout the Davis and Sacramento area, inviting international filmmakers, celebrities, business leaders, academics and policy makers to experience a weekend of international films, culture and diplomacy. On Friday, October 25, Karma will also host an Academic Conference in partnership with University of California, Davis to discuss energy initiatives including EREV and PHEV platforms, and sustainable last-mile transportation in the global e-commerce industry.
Throughout the weekend, film festival guests will have the opportunity to experience the new luxury electric 2020 Revero GT. Karma’s definitive luxury electric vehicles are now available in the United States, Canada and select export markets as the company continues to expand its international presence, with plans to grow the automaker to five continents by 2020.
