Opel says it will show off three new models at the IAA Frankfurt International Motor Show in September. The first is the battery-electric Corsa-e – with a purely electric range of up to 330 kilometres according.
The second world premiere is the new Grandland X Hybrid4 with all-wheel drive. The plug-in hybrid combines the power of a 1.6 turbocharged petrol engine and two electric motors for a system output of up to 300hp.
The third premiere is the new Opel Astra. Compared to its predecessor, CO2 emissions are reduced by up to 21 per cent.
Opel CEO, Michael Lohscheller, says: “At the IAA we at Opel will be showing how the future of the automobile will become reality. We focus on the customer and their needs. Instead of prescribing the way forward, we offer the entire drive portfolio – from ground-breaking electric and hybrid drive to efficient combustion engines. All new models are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and already available to order.”
The IAA Frankfurt International Motor Show’s press days are September 10-11 and its public days are September 12-22.
