Formerly at EDF Energy, Daniel Bentham will join Ubitricity (UK) as Managing Director. Based in Berlin and London, Ubitricity provides intelligent charging and billing solutions for electric vehicles. For more than three years, the company has been contributing to mobility change in the UK by converting existing lanterns into charging points for EVs in residential areas.

Daniel Bentham has held a number of management positions and was most recently responsible for the research and development of future energy systems and technologies such as Smart Cities, Smart Grids, Smart Businesses, Smart Metering, Connected Homes, Low Carbon Transport and Energy Storage for the UK market as Head of R&D, Smart Customers at EDF Energy.
