Paris was one of the first cities in the world to have electricity. Fast forward nearly 200 years, the ‘City of Light’ is moving towards electric mobility, through government incentives and innovative startups.
For example, it wants to replace almost 5,000 diesel-powered buses, have one million hybrid and electric vehicles on the road and a network of 100,000 charging stations by 2022. Maybe it’s time to change its nickname to the city of EVs?
