The talk here in Shanghai has mainly been about pure electrification and connectivity, but Chinese start-up Grove is focusing on hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles. The brand has unveiled a Pininfarina-designed concept at Auto Shanghai which is capable of travelling over 1,200 km, trumping many fully-electric vehicles on the market today. Brendan Norman is Grove’s Chief Marketing Officer; he told us why hydrogen is a viable alternative to electricity as a fuel.
