Mitsubishi has released a teaser shot of its new SUV concept, named the Engelberg Tourer, ahead of the Geneva Motor Show on March 5. The automaker says that its latest creation, named after a Swiss alpine town with a history of sporting success, brings “more SUV, more EV, more technology and more style.”
The concept supports Mitsubishi’s drive into electrified crossovers, which have been prioritised by the Japanese brand as both markets continue to grow. The Engelberg Tourer follows in the footsteps of the e-Evolution Concept, which made its first appearance at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Show, and appears to lean further towards a final production vehicle.
Auto Futures will be attending the Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for updates.
